“I will actually never have the words to say what a perfect experience we had with Sam. She is not only an extraordinary photographer, but also just a phenomenal person. Her energy from the moment we booked her, throughout all the planning, then the big day, then AFTER the big day was more than we could have ever asked for. Her knowledge about timelines guided us immensely, dedication to making sure we had intentional time together and capturing genuine photos was unmatched, and her ability to make two people who are not comfy being photographed feel so comfortable, so seen and so supported was something we STILL talk about even six weeks after our wedding. She fit in with everyone, managed to capture intimate photos without being intrusive and helped guide when necessary, whilst still making sure everything was genuine. She is such a big part of the day and was such a calm, supportive and cheerleading force throughout - my confidence was built up because of her. Her platform for delivery is intuitive and we couldn't be more pleased with the photos (Sam was, and will remain, my favorite photographer). Her creativity exudes in everything she does and this work is no exception.

My only regret is that we don't live closer to Sam (we live in California and our wedding was here) so we can't have her capture more of our important life moments.

“I want to preface this with I am a wedding photographer myself so you can imagine that when it came to choosing my own wedding photographer it was the biggest decision I had to make, even more so than the venue! Sam photographed my husband and me for 2 days, 1 day for us to exchange private vows and another day to celebrate with a small group of family + friends. The photos she took of us were amazing but the photos she got of our family + friends are truly PRICELESS and don't even get me started on the photos she got of our dogs. I look at our photos and still cannot believe that it's my wedding! My husband and I were smiling, laughing, and happy crying while looking through the all photos. She photographed both days so perfectly and working with her in general was effortless + easy, nothing felt posed or forced. We just showed up, got to be ourselves, and had fun while she captured both days. Sam really does have an artistic eye and it shows in her work, she can make a small moment (like helping a grandparent down the steps or our dogs greeting our guests) feel like something so special. She is also a superwoman; she shot multiple rolls of film for us and the balancing act of being a single photographer shooting across 4 (or even 5?) cameras in total is no easy feat but again she made it look effortless and when I look back at the photos I'm wondering how she was everywhere at once. She really did feel like another friend that was there for our wedding day and many of our guests even mentioned the same thing! She is an expert at what she does and worth every single penny, I know that we will look at these photos for years to come and be transported right back to the day. Like I said before: priceless memories that we will forever cherish!”

Not only are the photos incredible (beyond anything I could have ever hoped for), but she has been such a joy to work with.
