My photography career has not been the most traditional.
I am mostly self taught. Meaning almost everything I know, I’ve either taught myself or have asked other photographers I trust. I did not go to photography school or take lessons and I really had no idea that I would end up where I am today.
My road to wedding photography was a slow one. I wasn’t completely sure it was for me and it took a long time for me to find where I fit in the wedding photography industry. But once I did, I fell in love. I fell in love with photographing love and the beautiful chaos that comes with a wedding day.
2022 was the year I stopped letting imposter syndrome hold me back from creating. The year I truly dove head first into my passion and started investing in myself and my business.
I softly rebranded my website, planned styled shoots with other creatives, asked to second shoot with other wedding photographers, put myself out there on social media, upgraded my gear and invested in multiple workshops and mentorships.
This is one blog post of many coming from my 2022 work that will highlight how much effort I put into my craft. I truly hope you enjoy.

One of my goals for 2022 was to plan a styled shoot once a month during the summer. I bit off a little more than I could chew with this one, but luckily I had friends and a partner that believed in me enough to come along for the very long ride.
The vibe I was going for was Western editorial & a Western elopement scene.
The first look started at Painted Hills. Not sure why I decided Eastern Oregon was a good idea in the middle of July, but regardless, Cam & Meadow killed it.
The second and third look took place at a location that was new to all of us. One of my most favorite things about being a human is experiencing an epic place for the first time. It’s truly unlike any feeling I’ve ever felt and getting to create magic in a place so extraordinary was such a gift.
