Maternity on the Columbia River

We had scheduled our maternity session in Mt. Rainier coincidentally during what turned out to be a record breaking heat wave that ravaged the PNW. Nicole and Jamie are owners of Stay Fed Farms, an urban farm in Portland, Oregon that grows seasonal, fresh veggies for the community. Because the temperatures were predicted to and did reach 115, we decided to reschedule so they could tend to their garden.

Although maternity photos in Mt. Rainier could have been very beautiful, our rescheduled session ended up being some of my favorite photos I’ve ever taken. Not to mention, Nicole and Jamie are some of my favorite return-clients and have become great friends of mine.
